"Pokemon: The Movie White" Discussion
I've been meaning to make this thread, but then other stuff got in the way.
Anyway, now that both showings of "Pokemon: The Movie White" have been shown at the Krikorian Theater, let's discuss the movie, shall we?
IMO overall, the movie was fun to watch. One thing I love about the Pokemon movies are the exotic locations that they take place in the movies (the town in this movie is based on a real-life village in France). The scenery and atmosphere was very well-done and Victini is such an adorable character. I won't spoil anything for people who haven't seen it, but I'll admit the movie did tug at my heartstrings for a bit near the end.
Alright, what did you guys think?
NOTE: Please, DO NOT spoil the movie for those who haven't seen it yet. Thank you!

Re: "Pokemon: The Movie White" Discussion
I thought it was pretty good, and the story line was great, if not a little cheesy at times. Seeing it in theaters felt awesome since it's been years since they last showed a Pokemon movie in theaters. I think the last one they did was for Pokemon Heroes, and that was a limited release for the US. There were times the movie almost made me cry, and I squeed many times with how cute it was.
For those who missed this, they're showing the counterpart movie Pokemon: The Movie Black on Cartoon Network, December 10th. I looked it up and it's basically the exact same plot, with a few differences. I'll post the link here so you can see what they are if you're curious to know exactly. :'3

And before I end I just want to say, this movie makes me glad that I own Pokemon White and I have a Victini. <3

Pretty good movie from a dude that just came from Pokemon Past
You know, I haven't seen a Pokemon movie since the 5th movie or something. I lost count. But yeah the movie was indeed pretty good. Sure it reused something from the first movie, but the film did have some charm inputed into the whole cinema. One complaint was that there wasn't too much Team Rocket in it. I felt that Team Rocket was left out of the entire movie and was there to be there. I wished that there WAS a Team Rocket movie cause that WOULD be KICKASS.
The acting wasn't half bad. It reminded me of the good ol days of Pokemon when 4Kids did decency at it's best. The voice actress for Ash sound somewhat like Veronica Tailor though more high pitched and Team Rocket was kinda ok, though Meowth almost sounded more like Mike Pollock at times. Other than that the story was good and it did felt like a good old Pokemon movie from the past.
2 Thumbs up for this film. Nuff said
